Corona Virus Impacts Patients & Healthcare Workers

Serving Patients and Families During Coronavirus — COVID Safety Precautions & Virtual Care

Healthcare Health Worker Using Medical Mask COVID telemedicine servicesDue to Coronavirus, we have shut down our hands on services to patients and assisted living communities. We are still reaching out to them to see if they need any help during COVID. We can provide telemedicine sessions virtually through Skype, Facetime or Zoom. Our long time commitment to our clients and their families are our priority. The Corona Virus Pandemic is the time to show the solidarity and support our team has demonstrated over decades.

More than anything, we are taking heed in practicing safety precautions in our own lives. We stay calm and support one another through constant telephone contact. We are dedicated to our cause. As clinicians and advisors we must demonstrate a sense of harmony and perseverance.

I am very proud of my team and collaborative agencies as we bond together to create sensible, safe ways to provide services during this health crisis.

Trained Caregiving Services during Corona Virus

Proper Hand Washing Techniques for COVID - Coronavirus
Learn proper hand washing techniques

Our associate agency providing local Los Angeles County based caregiving, companionship and personal care services have completed the Corona Virus universal precautions training for their staff and have all necessary masks and gloves for each case. Caregivers are required to take their own temperature prior to each shift. All shifts are available (4 hour to overnight and live in). Caregivers are able to pick up and deliver groceries, medications as well as do light housekeeping and cooking. They are capable of assisting in telemedicine as most physicians are now shifting to this mode of medical care. Some of the caregivers are willing and ready to care for Coronavirus / covid 19 patients who are home bound.

Corona Virus Health Care

Our associate home health, palliative care and hospice agency is now geared up to care for patients being released from local hospitals, Rehab and skilled nursing facilities to home. Physicians, Nurse Practitioner and nurses are available for in-home care and telemedicine. Universal precautions and supplies are plentiful. This is a time when being at home is safer than being in any health care facility. Due to the infection rate of the Coronavirus, most skilled nursing and assisted living facilities are on lock down and are not able to take new admissions.

Senior placement to assisted living communities are limited and virtual tours are still available. We are constantly being updated as to the status of the various communities through our associate placement agency associates so we can advise families accordingly.
