For the past four years, it has been my sincere pleasure to utilize the services of Wellness On Wheels. I have found that massages with Gigi have been healing on several levels. There is a sense of touch which she brings to every session. I find that besides this, there is a personal interest in my distress points that I find invigorating. She shows an interest in my total being in the full sense of the word.

I am 80 years old and have taken part in the exercise and massage given by Wellness on Wheels. I have enjoyed them and found them very helpful. They have improved my muscle tone and have been very relaxing.

Gigi DeSouki is a Godsend! My older sister has Parkinson’s disease. She had been at an assisted living facility but they let me know she was a fall risk and needed a smaller place as she needed more care. We found a place but she was there a week and she ended up in the hospital. Gigi helped me work with ALWP to look for other places for her to go. With my permission, she reached out to her doctor, she called and spoke with the discharge nurses. I work full time and it would have been a lot more difficult to get through this without Gigi. She was also someone that gave me invaluable information in addition to being a virtual shoulder to cry on. My sister is now in a very good place and is being taken care of.

I want to thank Gigi for her excellent work in helping me and my family during the pandemic shut down. My daughter who has Parkinson’s was not doing well in the Board and Care facility where she was living. She kept falling down, got very sick and had to be sent to the Hospital. She was very ill and needed a skilled nursing home as a result of her hospitalization. Gigi took the case and not only found her a place, but a great Doctor with whom she had a working relationship.

Gigi is a miracle worker, I can not speak more highly of her. She is amazing in her field. She has made many connections with people in the medical field and has and is helping many families like ours.

Gigi came to the rescue for my family on two occasions, once with my mother, who lived with dementia and most recently helping me with my brother who was diagnosed with cancer. My 95 year old mom was in a skilled nursing facility after surgery for a broken hip and was not doing well when the facility's doctors recommended she move home and be under hospice care. Gigi was an absolute angel of a consultant during an unfortunate crisis-like situation my family and I were experiencing involving the termination of an Assisted Living facilities. The Inn on the Boulevard near Universal City was shutting down and evicting all its elderly tenants in order to begin construction on a new set of condominiums in its place. This situation left dozens of families scrambling to find a new Assisted Living home for their parents within just 30 days. It was an extremely difficult time for my family and Gigi stepped right in to make sure we could not only find just a suitable place for my mum, but find one that was suitable to her needs. She really went out of her way to make sure that myself and dozens of others were getting the support they needed during this rough period. "It takes a village" - thank you Gigi. You rule!!!

Wellness on Wheels is a God-send to those who are elderly or just not doing well and their family members. It's hard to navigate the healthcare system and know what is available for those who have a fixed income. Gigi and her staff at Wellness on Wheels are able to create a seamless plan for all levels of care and the follow through and attention to detail are amazing. I know of one young person who was hit by a car and her husband didn't know where to begin as she began the long road back to functionality. Gigi organized all her caregivers and made sure that she had everything she needed even after she came home. She sent someone to give my dying mother a tender massage back in 2007. Gigi has been extremely helpful in providing excellent referrals that she can vouch for personally. These referrals have included an estate planning attorney, a fiduciary, an expert in health insurance, and a medical doctor.
