Dr. Andrea Renee’s journey to become a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine began when she was run over by a taxi as a pedestrian in New York City in 1994. With a 90% chance of death from that accident, it was the life changing moment when she first experienced PTSD and became a chronic pain patient. Since then, she has been building and using her mind-body medicine tool box to walk and work again. As an acupuncturist, yoga instructor, energy worker and acupuncturist continuing education provider, speaker and trainer, it’s her resolute mission to help others end their own suffering by becoming their own medicine so they too, can live beyond their challenges, into their highest potential and make a lasting positive impact on humanity. Her clinical acupuncture practice is in Pacific Palisades, CA.
Dr. Renee holds Doctoral and Master Degrees in Acupuncture with Orthopedics and Chigong specializations from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, CA and Yo San University in LA, CA, respectively. She completed externships at Venice Family Clinic and The Wellness Center at LA County USC Hospital. In addition, she also became an American Organization of Body Work Therapies of Asia (AOBTA.org) certified Asian Body Work Therapist and Energy worker as she completed the extensive 4000-hour CA State Acupuncture Board Tutorial Program as a Doctoral Fellow, Assistant Clinic/Herbal Medicine Supervisor and Board Exam Tutor at AOMA University in Austin TX, the top 5 acupuncture college in the USA.
As a CA state licensed Acupuncturist and Primary Care Physician, Dr. Renee offers both live treatments and self-care training in her Pacific Palisades private practice as well as on retreats, plus one-hour telemedicine virtual consults by appointment.
